Born in Waterville, New York, on July 12, 1854, George Eastman revolutionized photography by making cameras and film affordable and accessible to everyday people. As the founder of the Eastman Kodak Company, his innovations helped bring photography to the masses and forever changed how the world captures and preserves memories. His impact on photography, motion pictures, and modern visual communication continues to be felt today.

Native Columbine (Aquilegia canadensis) prefers rocky soil over rich soil and will reseed itself along rock walls and gravel paths. It has evolved distinct backward-pointing nectar spurs that perfectly match the specialized anatomy of long-tongues pollinators.

Curious Shopkeeper: Paddywacks in Clinton

For 35 years, Paddywacks on West Park Row in Clinton has added whimsical fun for shoppers and browers alike.
